About OILS

OILS is a society dedicated to the welfare of its members. OILS was formed to meet the career needs of alumni law students. The Society’s interests now include IGS students who are contemplating a career in the law, under-graduates applying for seasonal clerkships and alumni lawyers during their early years of practice. Membership of OILS is open to anyone entitled to be a Life Member of the OIGA who has a law degree or is studying law. OILS is based on the premise that advice freely given by experienced, well-intentioned professionals is rare and valuable.
